Waiting for a brighter future is a site-specific Sci-Fi installation made for SOSU Østjylland, Skejby. Two study rooms are arranged as visiting rooms. In there one can hang out for a while with a woman/man who are freely brought to a permanent embryonic state in a thick hazy liquid. Here they can stay for 100 years until the Planet’s problems are fixed and they can be reborn into a new and brighter world.
Waiting for a brighter future is a mix of Noah’s Ark, Sleeping Beauty and a new trend where you can freeze shortly after death, to re-emergence, when scientists can cure the cause of death.
The exhibition can be experienced during the daytime at SoSu Østjylland, Hedeager 33, 8200 Aarhus throughout March 2019.
